The Orchid Gala Women’s Health Initiative is dedicated to transforming women’s health care in Nova Scotia. By collaborating with government officials, medical professionals, and industry leaders, we work to improve access to vital procedures, reduce wait times, and equip doctors with the resources they need to provide exceptional care to women in our province.
For 2025, we are thrilled to partner with the QEII Foundation to bring the advanced da Vinci Xi surgical robot to patients — further advancing women’s health care in the region.
The da Vinci Xi robot is a groundbreaking surgical tool that has become the gold standard for treating many diseases and cancers. Equipped with four robotic arms and a 3D camera, the robot mirrors the surgeon’s movements with unmatched precision, enabling minimally invasive procedures in even the most delicate and hard-to-reach areas.
Your support will help improve access, allow the QEII to expand robot assisted surgery to other gynecological cancers and ensure that every woman receives the life-saving treatment she deserves. Thank you!
