Cancer has touched the lives of many, including ourselves and our loved ones. Sadly, some have lost their battle. One such individual is our very own trainer at Blended Athletics, Jordan Forbes. He has witnessed firsthand the loss and hardships faced by those fighting against brain cancer. 

In response to Jordan's heartfelt initiative, the community at Blended Athletics has united once again to raise both funds and awareness for brain cancer treatment and research. 

We invite you to join us in our fight by making a generous donation leading up to our upcoming event, 'The Summer Bash against Brain Cancer,' taking place on Saturday August 15th, 2026, at Blended Athletics.

Why Im Sweating For A Cause This Summer

Thursday 9th Jul
For the second year in a row, I'm lacing up for something bigger than a workout.
On August 15th, I'll be taking part in The Summer Bash Against Brain Cancer at Blended Athletics, a fundraiser in support of the QEII Brain Cancer Foundation. It's a day built around a simple idea: bring people together, work hard, and raise real money for a cause that touches so many lives.
Brain cancer doesn't just affect the person diagnosed — it ripples out to families, friends, and entire communities. The QEII Brain Cancer Foundation funds research and supports patients right here at home, and I've seen firsthand how much that support matters.
This event combines a fundraising campaign with an action-packed day of group workouts and physical challenges. It's tough, it's fun, and every bit of effort goes toward something that matters far more than a personal best.
I'm asking you to consider joining me — not necessarily on the workout floor, but by making a donation. Every dollar goes directly to the QEII Brain Cancer Foundation, helping bring hope and support to those affected by this disease.
