The QEII Health Sciences Centre is the heartbeat of cardiac care in the Maritimes. Nearly every heart health patient in Nova Scotia comes to the QEII for emergency treatment or follow-up care. 

Your gift of Heart Health will help support a minimally-invasive cardiac surgery program at the QEII, repairing the heart without opening the chest through the breastbone. Incisions reduce from 20-25 cm to just a tiny, 3 cm incision. Recovery is often quicker. Hospital stays are shorter. And patients return to their daily lives sooner.
